Conveyance, Mortgage, and Misc. Fees

New Fees: A recordation track cover sheet will now be included with all filings. This cover sheet will have all recordation information as well as the total number of pages and Deputy Clerk signature line. It will also include all certification information by our office electronically on the certified copy now provided and stamped.

  1. For 1 to 5 page documents – $100
  2. For 6 to 25 page documents – $200
  3. For 26 to 50 documents – $300
  4. For documents in excess of 50 pages – $300 for the first fifty pages and $5 for each subsequent page.
  5. After 10 names of indexing, $5 per name
  6. Debtor Fee (No SS# or Tax ID #), $25 per debtor
  7. The following is inclusive of all recordings:
    a. Indexing of all names up to 10.
    b. One certified copy
  8. $50 for the recordation of an act or affidavit to cancel a single mortgage, lien, partial release, or privilege.
  9. For Multiple Cancellations or partial release on a single piece of property, it will be based on the per page count.
  10. For cancelling real estate mortgage with original note, $10.
  11. If a document is to be recorded and filed in both mortgage and conveyance, the fees shall be assessed separately in the mortgage and conveyance records.
  12. Anything over the legal paper size will be an additional $20 per page.
  13. Maps/Plats Oversize, $120 and includes up to 10 names indexed.  $5 per name after the 10th name.
  14. For notarizing acknowledgments of acts executed under private signature, with seal and certificate, $10.
  15. For certificate of real estate mortgage and lien certificate with seal, for each name in which search is made, and for one definable property only, $20 for the first name and $10 for each additional name. There shall be an additional charge of $1 per exception in the event that more than ten exceptions are contained on a certificate. Each additional tract shall be $20 per tract and each additional name shall be $10 per name.
  16. Notice of Repossession will remain $75.00.
  17. Affidavit of Identity prior to 7/1/2012, $18 + ($6 for each additional page + $3 for each additional name)
  18. Affidavit of Identity after 7/1/2012, $0
  19. Copies, $2 per page if made by staff.  $1 if made by the public.
  20. Conformed Copy, $5 plus copy fee.
  21. Certified copy, $10 plus copy fee.
  22. Postage, actual amount.
  23. Notary fee, $10.

Note: Paper size no larger than legal with margins set at 2” top and bottom for first page and 1” for each additional page.

Conveyance Documents:

Conveyance Documents will include the following types of documents:

Cash Deed, Cemetery Deed, Donation, Quitclaim Deed, Warranty Deed, Permit, Co-Lessor Agreement, Amend Lease, Assign OG&ML, Timber Deed, Royalty Deed, Mineral Deed, Sheriff Tax Sale, Power of Attorney, Immobilization, Redemption Deed, Tax Sale, Power of Attorney Insurance Bondsmen, Rental, Memorandum of Lease, Release of OG&ML, Mortgages, Liens, etc., and Right-of-ways.

Mortgage Documents

Mortgage Documents will include the following types of documents:

Mortgage, Grass Cutting Lien, Holder/Holders, Re-inscription of Mortgage, Contract, LA Employee Sec. Tax Lien, Assignment Mortgage, Notary Bond, Home Equity, Judgment, IRS Tax Lien, Department of Revenue Lien, Acceptance, Request for Notice, Correction to Mortgage, No Work Affidavit, Multiple Indebtedness, Fannie Mae/Freddie M, and Multiple Indebtedness Mortgage.

Mortgage Certificates

Real Estate and Supplement of Mortgage Certificate

1st Name (1 Tract 11 Years) = $20.00**

Each Additional Name = $10.00

Clear Lien Certificate = $20.00

  • Affidavit of Identity prior to 7/1/2012, $18 + ($6 for each additional page + $3 for each additional name)
  • Affidavit of Identity after 7/1/2012, $0

Cancellation Certificate = $10.00

PLEASE NOTE:
If a general mortgage certificate is ordered, all names, exhibits, descriptions, etc. are included.  This could escalate the price considerably depending on what is found.  If you are ordering a general, you may want to call first and speak with the mortgage department before the work is performed.

Miscellaneous

Misc. Documents include following types of documents:

Articles of Incorporation, Dissolution, Certificate to Marry, and Certificate for Doctor.

Also includes cancellations

FHA Satisfaction, Lost Note, Prescription, IRS Tax Lien, Employee Sec. Tax Lien, Judgment Letter/Order, Grass Cutting Lien, City Court, Cancellation with Note, LA Dept. of Revenue and Taxation, and Department of Justice.

Faxed and Copied Documents

All faxed copies are $6.00 for the 1st page and $2.00 for each additional.

Personnel made copies = $2.00

Public made copies = $1.00

DocuNet Subscriber copies if printed off-site = $1.00

Certified copies = $10 plus copy fee.
