The Acadia Parish Voting Machine Warehouse
is located just West of Crowley on Highway 90. This is a modern facility
in which all our voting machines for our parish are housed and maintained.
This facility is staffed and operated by the Department of Elections whose
headquarters is in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. We currently have 125 voting
machines. The number of voting machines used are determined by several
factors. Those being the number of registered voters in a precinct, and
the size of the ballot on election day, and the estimated voter turnout.
